Contemporary cabin interiors bring together elements such as plump sofas, warm woods and low light but also include polished accessories and sleek furniture giving the interior a rustic charm as well as refinement.

The interior honors natural materials, it highlights them in finishings, furniture as well as in decor.

The natural wood floors, doors, decorative beams and metal decor and lighting fixtures dominate the rooms of PLEVNA house.

Faux leather pillows and leather armchairs, throws and wool rugs along with the fireplace give this modern city cabin a welcoming warmth.

Big metal framed mirrors used in the hallway, bedroom and dining area give the spaces more depth and light up the space.

The oak oiled barn door in the master bedroom makes a beautiful natural rustic feature and it also saves the space a swinging door would occupy. The slightly vintage ceiling lighting fixture is complimented by the feature wall covered in wood. The greys found in textiles and furniture balance with the black metal details and the brown found in wood elements and décor.

The master bathroom uses the same color palette but in different textures and materials. Brown shades are used on a lit accent wall finished with ceramic tiles resembling Corten steel along with grey stonelike ceramics and black paint and furniture.

The only room that brings a pop of color is the child`s bedroom with a decorative profile pattern wall covered in a bright green paint. The contemporary cabin feel finds its way here through wooden cube tables, wooden fan,  leather chair and furniture hardware.

The living room with its ample dining area is void of any unuseful decoration, honoring wood through its feature dividing wood panels wall creating a stage like feeling for an otherwise hidden or forgotten space – the hallway.

All in all, the straight lines and sleek silhouettes of a contemporary style beautifully contrast with rustic cabin interior design and not only the materials used brought the PLEVNA House interior together, but also the way they were highlighted through color, composition and lighting.
